Ketamine

Ketamine assisted psychotherapy is a highly effective treatment that combines the use of ketamine with psychotherapy. This innovative approach has demonstrated remarkable results in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety and PTSD. The patient is administered a low dose of ketamine during the therapy session, which significantly enhances the effectiveness of the psychotherapy. The treatment is conducted in a controlled environment, and the patient is closely monitored throughout the process to ensure safety and comfort.

What is the process for Ketamine Therapy?

A typical ketamine therapy plan involves an initial consultation with a healthcare provider to determine if the treatment is appropriate for the patient. If it is, the patient will typically undergo a series of sessions, usually ranging from 6-8 sessions, with each session lasting around 45-60 minutes. During session, the patient is given a low dose of ketamine through an IV infusion (Intravenous), IM (Intramuscular), nasal spray (Spravato) or troches (dissolving tablet) . The number of sessions required can vary depending on the individual's condition and response to. After the session, patients are typically monitored for a short period of time before being discharged.
